Okada Hironori brings decades of financial expertise and international business experience to our consultancy. After graduating university, he built his career at Kanwakaku Securities (now Mizuho Securities) and later with Dutch financial institution ING Group, where he developed strong skills in retail operations. His experience expanded through his work at a domestic securities company managing Japanese equity operations.
Today, Okada serves as the Representative Director of SO&CO Corporation, where he specializes in M&A transactions, business alliances, and trading company operations. Born in 1969, this 56-year-old entrepreneur holds both Type 1 and Type 2 Sales Representative qualifications in the financial sector. His dedication to continuous learning led him to obtain a chef’s license in 2007 and an MBA in 2009.
As the CEO of NAM ASIA PARTNERS LLC, Okada supports Japanese companies expanding into overseas markets, having established valuable business relationships with Thai conglomerates Central Group and Saha Group. While based in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, he maintains an operational base in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2024, he co-founded OK Consultant, an advisory firm bridging Japan and Indonesia. His journey began with a passion for learning and connecting cultures, starting from working as a chef-assistant, photographer, translator leading international teams across diverse industries including seafood farming, automotive, and mining.
Kent’s linguistic capabilities—fluency in Japanese, English, and Indonesian—provide him with unique insights into the nuances of these different business cultures. He combines his technological expertise with cross-cultural knowledge to streamline business operations and enhance team collaboration.
